Study Spotlight is a monthly magazine that features recent scientific studies presented in a reader-friendly way.
The goal is to make studies more accessible so that you can enjoy learning from them and apply them in your life.
Here's what you need to know:
This is a monthly magazine that will feature recent studies (published in 2020-2022). Each issue will include 2-4 studies.
Most studies will focus on human psychology. Some possible topics are: critical thinking, biases, conspiracy theories, social media use, productivity, morality.
All studies are hand-picked to help you better understand yourself, the people around you and the world we live in. Ideally, they will also help you make rational decisions, develop a science-based worldview and live a better life.
The magazine is meant to be accessible, so it's only $10/month.
When you sign up, you get instant access to all the previous issues. At the moment, there are 7 magazines you can read immediately.
The magazine will feature:
A summary of each study. This will be short, simple and clear. 500 words or less.
Scientific literature & Personal reflections. Here I discuss the information from the study, I add information from other relevant studies and I add my own thoughts on the topic.
Practical advice. Simple steps that you can take to apply what you’re learning.
At the moment there are some delays with the magazine. For some of the issues, I’ve written longer and more in-depth articles which resulted in some delays. I’m working on catching up though as soon as I can. When you sign up, you get access to all previous issues and new issues as soon as they are ready!
